Rietveld Logistics Group was founded in Noordeloos in 1949. Its operations expanded into (inter)national transport and logistics. In 1995, Rietveld established a second location: industrial estate Weststad in Oosterhout. This location was strategically chosen because of its good transport position. Since then, business activities have expanded to include a container terminal (OCT B.V.) and Oosterhout Modal Shift Solutions. Rietveld Logistics Group is a stable and growing family business with approximately 250 employees.
Rietveld Transport & Logistics is looking at a short notice for a Working Foreman.
Are you a real go-getter with leadership qualities? Do you have an eye for processes and for people? Then we are looking for you! As Working Foreman You lead a team on the shop floor in a coaching manner, while actively participating in the work yourself. You are the link between the team and the team leader/manager and ensure that the daily activities run smoothly and efficiently.
What you will do
- Managing, supervising and motivating employees on the shop floor
- Assisting in daily operational tasks yourself
- Overseeing quality, safety and meeting deadlines
- Identifying bottlenecks in the process and contributing ideas for improvements
- Ensuring good communication between your team and manager
- Reporting on progress and results to the manager
What do you bring
- MBO work and thinking level, preferably in a logistics field
- Several years of experience in a similar position
- No 9-to-5 mentality
- Leadership skills with a hands-on mentality
- You know how to manage people in a positive way
- Stress-resistant and solution-oriented
- Good command of the Dutch and English languages
