Rietveld Logistics Group was founded in Noordeloos in 1949. Its operations expanded into (inter)national transport and logistics. In 1995, Rietveld established a second location: industrial estate Weststad in Oosterhout. This location was strategically chosen because of its good transport position. Since then, business activities have expanded to include a container terminal (OCT B.V.) and Oosterhout Modal Shift Solutions. Rietveld Logistics Group is a stable and growing family business with approximately 250 employees.

Rietveld Transport & Logistics is looking at a short notice for a Working Foreman.

Are you a real go-getter with leadership qualities? Do you have an eye for processes and for people? Then we are looking for you! As Working Foreman You lead a team on the shop floor in a coaching manner, while actively participating in the work yourself. You are the link between the team and the team leader/manager and ensure that the daily activities run smoothly and efficiently.

What you will do

Managing, supervising and motivating employees on the shop floor
Assisting in daily operational tasks yourself
Overseeing quality, safety and meeting deadlines
Identifying bottlenecks in the process and contributing ideas for improvements
Ensuring good communication between your team and manager
Reporting on progress and results to the manager

What do you bring

MBO work and thinking level, preferably in a logistics field
Several years of experience in a similar position
No 9-to-5 mentality
Leadership skills with a hands-on mentality
You know how to manage people in a positive way
Stress-resistant and solution-oriented
Good command of the Dutch and English languages
